What is the highest dell XPS coupon you’ve seen, and what time of year was it available?

Right now there is a 30% off 1699 or more for dell XPS notebooks. This is valid through Dec 10th.

Do you think a higher coupon will be available closer to christmas? Or should I buy now?

Thanks!
I am not looking for opinions about dells…I have had one for over 3 years and love it, just want it upgrade.

My ONLY question is about coupons, don’t waste your time.

The best I’ve seen over the years of following http://www.notebookforums.com is 40% off XPS systems, but the times I’ve seen it, it was for like 24 hours or 1,000 systems and sold out in a day.

30% off sounds pretty good, make sure you also check out the Dell outlet for refirb and scratch and dent. I got a Dell XPS 1330 under scratch and dent for $500 under the regular cost ($1200 vs. $1700). Looking it over the only thing I can find on it is a very light smudge in the paint job (it’s red) that you can only see looking closely in certain lighting. Comes with the full warranty and all the same as if it were new.

You could wait on the small chance a 35 or 40% comes out but I would look at it as if it’s worth the price you can get it for now and the chances of it being cheaper are slim, no reason to hold off when you could be enjoying it now.

Trying not to sound like a Dell commercial! I live in Austin Texas, but am one of the few that DOESN’T work at Dell lol.
