How do you find the total cost of something with tax and the final total with a discount?
For example, say I’m buying an item for .99 and the sales tax is 7%. How do you find the total cost of the item? And after finding the total amount, how do you find the grand total of the item with a 10% discount?

In the state of Florida, how do they calculate sales tax when a customer uses a coupon?
For some states it depends if it is a manufacturer’s or retailer’s coupon. Some states it doesn’t matter. Usually the tax is calculated after the discount is taken, but I want to verify this if anybody knows.
