Is it possible to get a discount at other stores besides the one you are working for?

I work at American Eagle Outfitters and always forget to ask the manager if you get a discount at other stores besides the one you are looking for. Does anyone know if the same discount applies if you show your employee I.D.? Thanks for the help!
