Anyone have information on the long defunct United Gift Coupon Company?
I have a pile of coupons that could be redeemed for useful household items such as can openers and small clocks. This seems to work like the old green stamps from years ago; you made a purchase and received free coupons based on the dollar amount of the purchase. When enough coupons were saved, you sent them in for the gift you wanted. The name on the coupons is the United Gift Coupon Company. They look like play money and measure about 2" x 4". They are in denominations of 1/4, 1, 5, and 10. I can find absolutly nothing on the web concerning the company, its history, or its demise. Can anyone help?
